Why create a free ARA user?

At ARA, we have launched our new website and app: innovation serving information. To enjoy all the advantages we offer you through our new channels, please create a free ARA account.

Advantages

10 articles per month

Until now, you could access 5 articles a month. On our new website, we have increased the number of articles available for users with a free account from 5 to 10. If you don’t have an account, you will only be able to access the landing page and short information updates.

Follow journalists

You can follow the journalists and op-ed writers you’re most interested in. We read a news site for the quality of its information, which originates in the people writing it. From now on, you can follow the journalists you most like. This means that you will receive an email when we publish one of their articles, so you will never miss out.

Follow topics

On our new website, we have created another important change: current affairs will be organised by topics of the day, which you can follow to receive related news. This will allow you to be up to date with the topics that most interest you.

Save articles

We don’t always have time to read everything we would like to; during the day we are sometimes too busy, we know. That is why you can save any article you are interested in on your profile, so you can go back to it whenever suits you best.

Signing up to newsletters

You can sign up to our themed newsletter on the latest events. It is a practical way to keep up to date with the areas you are most interested in. You might want to receive the latest on gender equality, on the economy, politics or sports; you might want to try out our latest recipes from “Mengem” or find out about new films and series.

Download our digital magazines

These magazines have a clear goal: they deal with a specific theme from different angles. We have a digital library with over 150 magazines you can download for free. We deal with all sorts of topics, from the Holocaust to how to save money or cooking in winter, among others.

Your profile

All this information, including saved articles, and journalists and topics you are following, is saved on your ARA profile, which you can access any time you want. There you will be able to personalise the notifications and emails you would like to receive. If you read us on your phone, you will find it easier with our new App (available for all iOS and Android devices)
